Nestled at the foot of the South Downs, West Sussex, is our luxury, eco-friendly, holiday lodge, sited on our agricultural family run nursery.
Situated on our rural family nursery where we specialise in growing Italian fruit and vegetables traditionally, without artificial fertilisers or chemicals.
Just a few minutes walk to South Downs, 14 minutes walk to our local village pub, restaurant's and shops and 25 minute walk to the beach.
The beauty of this location is that you are away from it all yet are a short distance from Arundel, Worthing, Chichester and Brighton with very close bus and train links.
We have created a peaceful escape, ideal for anyone that wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.
Our guests happiness and comfort means everything to us so we go above and beyond to ensure your stay is as perfect as possible. Since we opened we have consistently achieved 5-star super host status on Airbnb.
ABOUT
We are Luca and Trina, and live on our nursery, specialising in organically grown produce, with our children and our dad who lives next door. We are a family built upon Italian traditions; great food, love and a glass of vino! We have spent many years renovating our nursery and converting the old packing shed into our new family home after spending many happy years living in Honeysuckle lodge before converting it into our own holiday let so people can come and enjoy what we have created.
We have a great Italian emphasis on the plants we grow, how we live and strive to keep the traditions going. We love to teach others in the way we live, a very self sufficient life. Every summer we open the greenhouses to sell our produce to the local community.
Now we would like to share this lifestyle with others. Back to basic living is extremely desirable in the modern day high tempo lifestyle that we lead in the 21st century. Certain ways of growing and eating your own food, are becoming forgotten, with people not knowing how fruit and veg are grown, we would love to educate people in this simplistic life.
Honeysuckle Lodge
Honeysuckle lodge is a luxury, eco-friendly, holiday lodge, set in its own private garden, surrounded with a hedge and fence.
The handcrafted lodge is warm and welcoming from the moment you step through the door, filled with light and natural sun.
Luca has lovingly renovated our lodge and handmade a lot of the furniture, with things we have salvaged over the years, from old snooker tables to telegraph poles.
The open plan kitchen and living area is the heart of the home, a perfect place to entertain and cook all together. The kitchen is fully equipped, from dishwasher, panini maker, blender to a Dolce Gusto coffee machine (pods provided) and a separate utility room with a washing machine, a second fridge, clothes airer and space for your cases and coats etc.
The lounge is the ideal space to relax and unwind in, with comfy sofas to curl up on and a 50 inch smart TV with Netflix.
All 3 bedrooms have dreamy, soft and luxurious beds with luxury Egyptian cotton bedding, all sourced and made in the U.K. and 40” smart TVs.
Both the bathrooms are supplied with natural eco-friendly shampoo, conditioner and shower gels, plenty of luxury Egyptian cotton towels and bathrobes.
We use eco-friendly, natural cleaning products.
There is a large private garden outside the lodge and balcony decking area leading direct from the lounge, with gas BBQ, table and chairs, window seat and 4 sun loungers. Watch unforgettable sunsets from the comfort of your own private balcony with your favourite drink. There is also a secluded covered area for the hot tub.
We provide a welcome hamper for your arrival, including fresh eggs from our free range chickens, the absolute necessities of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, salt, pepper, seasonings, snacks, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, cleaning supplies and produce from our greenhouses when in season.
Honeysuckle lodge has its own private parking for 2 cars outside the lodge, with more parking on the nursery.
The lodge has also been designed for accessible needs with a large wet room for easy access, spacious bedroom, widened doorways, large spacious kitchen and lounge, we supply a shower seat, toilet handrail frame and we can remove the rugs and supply a ramp for the 2 steps into the front door.
Bedrooms
All of our 3 bedrooms include hairdryers and a Smart TV. In bedroom 3 we can make the twin beds into a kingsize upon request. A cot can be provided upon request.

There is free fast wifi throughout the lodge so you can work, play or stream whenever you please.

All guests receive a complimentary welcome basket full of goodies to enjoy during their visit.

Ferring Beach
Quiet unspoilt beach, enjoy a leisurely walk from the lodge along the Ferring rife, a stream abundant in wildlife.
Stop off at the beachfront cafe for lunch in Summer or hot chocolate in the Winter Months.

Just a short drive away is the breathtaking Arundel Castle and it's surrounding grounds.
