Luca and Trina
A family built upon Italian traditions
We are Luca and Trina, and live on our nursery with our children and our dad who lives next door. We are a family built upon Italian traditions; great food, love and a glass of vino! We have spent many years renovating our nursery and converting the old packing shed into our new family home after spending many happy years living in Elderflower lodge before converting it into our own holiday let so people can come and enjoy what we have created. Every summer we open the greenhouses to sell our produce to the local community.
We have never eaten such delicious tomatoes and Luca and Trina were as generous with their time as their produce!

We have stayed in a lot of lodges and this is by far the best.
Families
The kids really enjoyed the garden
TV in every room, the cot and high chair was provided.
It was just perfect for 5 adults including two octogenarians one with limited mobility.
Friends
There were three couples in our party and there was plenty of room.
This is the perfect getaway for a weekend break from London.
all guests commented on how comfortable the beds were.
Celebrations
We stayed here for our wedding and it was absolutely perfect.
We booked for a special birthday celebration. Luca and Trina left us a lovely message with their very generous welcome goodies.
My niece and nephew loved the spacious garden and of course the hot tub was also a massive bonus!
Winter stays
The hot tub was 10/10 and we made use of it despite the snowy weather we had during our stay!
the covered hotub makes it useable in all weathers.
even had a christmas touch for that time of year.
From the nursery
Wonderful welcome hamper - particularly loved the organic vegetables, local apple juice and bread.
The welcome basket of home grown produce was honestly delicious and they were more than happy to provide more!
Trina & Luca were super friendly and we received some fresh vegetables which were very tasty.
The area
Also the surrounding area is lovely and peaceful, with great beach walks close by.
We visited Highdown gardens - walkable and free.
Lots to do in and around the area.
